Sara Gruen has this to say about herself:
"I am a transplanted Canadian (now also an American citizen) who moved to the States in 1999 for a technical writing job. Two years later I got laid off. Instead of looking for another job, I decided to take a gamble on writing fiction full-time. Fortunately, the gamble paid off and I'm currently working on my fourth novel, 'Ape House.'
I now live in Northern Illinois with my husband, three children, two dogs, three cats, two goats and horse in an environmentalist community. Eventually, I hope to live somewhere warm!"
Gruen is also the author of "Riding Lessons" and "Flying Changes."
