This juried art show, sponsored by the Daniel Boone Regional Library, is free and open to anyone of any age in the Mid-Missouri community. Inspired by this year’s One Read book, “The Tortilla Curtain” by T.C. Boyle, the theme for this show is the immigrant experience. Entries may be in any two- or three-dimensional media.
Submit your artwork by Monday, September 18 to any Daniel Boone Regional Library facility or bookmobile stop.
Selected entries will be displayed Friday, September 22 at the Cherry Street Artisan in downtown Columbia, at the Columbia Festival of the Arts September 23 & 24, at Westwood Coffee at 319 W. 4th St., Fulton, and on the library’s Web site. Tthe library retains the right not to display works inappropriate to the theme or setting.
