Write about Plainsong Contest

Join the One Read fun and earn a chance to win a first edition copy of Plainsong and a complimentary ticket to the dinner with Kent Haruf on November 16. To enter this contest, read the book and write a letter to the author from the point of view of their favorite character in the book. Kent Haruf author of Plainsong will will speak in Fulton and in Columbia, MO. These addresses are free and open to the public. Mr. Haruf will also speak at a gala dinner in the evening. Tickets for the dinner with the author will go on sale Monday, October 14, 2002. Tickets for the gala dinner will be $25 each and will be available at the administration office at the Daniel Boone Regional Library. More info...
